I write anywhere I can. I was reading a book titled “How to market a book.” The author talks about writing in a cafe, which got me thinking about where I like to write. My favorite place recently to write is Component Coffee in Visalia, CA. I was in the middle of writing “Harry and the Kraken” when I was there for an hour or two, and was able to write about 1000 words. Then I thought about other places I had written in. About a year ago, I was in Texas for a few days and found Arusha Coffee in Belton; I discovered that it was a great place to sit and write. When I left Texas, I headed to Las Vegas and bounced around coffee shops, always looking for an excellent place to write that had good coffee (another post for another day). On the last day, I was there, I stumbled upon a WeWork site in Town Square. The atmosphere in there was very conducive to writing for me. There were lots of random activities to keep part of my mind occupied, and I could sit and write. Beyond the constant motion (with not a lot of loud noises), they had good coffee and beer. On a side note, on the flight from Texas to Las Vegas, I used a small Bluetooth keyboard connected to my iPhone. I use pages primarily for writing. With pages I can quickly switch from my MacBook pro to my iPhone.

So, where do you (the reader) write?
