I finished the first draft of Harry Breaks a Jail on Monday, two days ago. Since then, I have run through the process of correcting grammar and other Grammarly issues. After that, I started reading through the draft. It’s going to be a while to get a read-through. I got to a sentence in the first chapter: “Harry was able to get the ship into the harbor without incident.” I realized that because of what was happening, it deserved an expansion. That one sentence has now become about 200 words, and I still have a little bit to do. I am still planning to send the final copy to Draft2Digital & KDP next month.
The word total now stands at 59,600.
